We were given a tatami room upon arrival. There were a supermarket and stores around the hotel. For dinner, we went to Kamaiki, it was just walking distance from the venue.

The double bed was surprisingly comfortable and the room was warm enough to enjoy the Xmas festivities. There's a nice Christmas tree and the view from the window was great to watch the city. the bathroom had an adequate amount of amenities and they were replenished after housekeeping. Near the hotel, you can find a 24-hour convenience store and a couple of restaurants, which is useful.
The room was quite tiny, felt claustrophobic at times, and it definitely needs a massive renovation. the walls were so thin, you could hear everything from the street, and it was not easy to sleep at night.

The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions. You can easily explore the area on foot. The Japanese breakfast is a must-try; it offers a variety of dishes like sukiyaki, miso, fish, and omelet, all presented beautifully. The rooms have genuine tatami mats, which provide a lovely experience.
The futon mattresses are a bit thin, and can be hard to sleep on, especially for older guests. The staff's communication skills are not up to the mark, and they struggle to understand and respond to guest requests.
